What should I do if I want to proceed with a estimate?

Just contact our office by phone or email, quote your reference number, and leave contact details. One of our surveyors will call you back to arrange a specific time & date for works to be carried out.

What is your lead in time?

This varies weekly, however on average is about 1-2 weeks for preservation works.

What preparation do I need to do?

You should do any preparation agreed in the original report, such as removal of any necessary radiators, furnishings, skirting boards etc. If you are unsure, please contact our office.

Our method of installing a damp proof course in the party walls within your property, whilst being to their benefit, does not involve your neighbours. There is however, a legal obligation on your behalf to inform them of our starting date. Should you require any further information about this, please contact our office.

You should provide adequate supplies of clean water and electricity. If this is not possible, please let us know as soon as possible

What mess should I expect?

We always strive to keep the property as clean and tidy as possible, and always carry dust sheets and other protection with us. During works however, particularly damp proofing, while we try to keep mess to a minimum, you will inevitably find that the property can be quite dusty for a couple of weeks after work. This is because of constant dust settling from the air. Unfortunately, while we can keep this to a minimum, we cannot completely prevent this from happening.

Who should I expect to turn up to my property?

We will send one or more technicians in a vehicle clearly marked with our company details. All our employees are friendly and helpful, and will do their utmost to make the job run as smoothly as possible and keep any disturbance to you to a minimum.

Do I need to stay in the property or can I go out?

As long as we have means of access to the property you can come and go as you please. Should you wish to leave the technicians in the property, they will happily lock up and return a key to you on completion.
