Marsden Preservation offer our clients a comprehensive arbitration service. Many of our customers contact us for advice after having works carried out by a contractor. They may feel that the works have not been carried out correctly or have not been completed properly. Many people feel uncomfortable challenging or approaching their builder/contractor and pointing out what they are dissatisfied with.
Marsdens offer an arbitration service to deal with these instances. We will investigate why the client is unhappy and then on their behalf we will contact the service provider in a professional and non confrontational manner and discuss the way forward to achieve a satisfactory solution for all concerned. Our success rate is is extremely high and in 95% of cases we are able to negotiate a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned. Our service is professional., friendly and very efficient.
An example of a recent dispute is one relating to new double glazing which the client was not happy with. This was resolved quickly (within 7 days) and both the instaler and the client were pleased with the outcome. Another recent dispute was a failed waterproof tanking system on a commercial property. After negotiation the contractor returned to site and carried out the necessary remedial works and received payment in full. Both the contractor and the client thanked Marsdens for the helping them to achieve a satisfactory conclusion.
